Beauty Goes Red

Last night we attended the amazing Beauty Goes Red event hosted by Austin Beauty Guide. Beauty Goes Red benefitted the American Heart Association and was full of supporting red! We had a blast braiding party goers hair and being part of the cause. With red on our lips we rocked the though of knowing so many people were in high spirits to help find a cure for heart disease.

Unite Academy Fun!

We recently had the honor of attending another wonderful Unite Academy class! Emma, Raven and Kat packed their bags and headed West to learn all there was to know about the new and improved bob cut. The girls spent two days in classes learning what’s coming for the bob and the techniques to customize it to each client.

California was a blast in class and out! Having the mix of watching Unite teachers demonstrate cuts and mimicking on their own was a great way to get the in depth teachings our stylist love to have. Raven said her favorite part of the trip was learning something she already knew, and having the chance to see a new perspective and gain more knowledge on it.

In salon world, having the holidays wrap means something special is about to happen. The month of December is a peak time for engagements, which means the following months are full of planning and locking in details. We have been honored over the years to build on our bridal cliental, and take part in many lovely brides big day.

From natural and traditional, to spunky and new, you name it and we have covered it in the wedding business. At Sirens we love taking the time to get to know each bride individually and truly get a sense of their big day. Our stylist spend countless hours mocking up ideas, sharing their thoughts, and getting final reviews to make each look perfect.

A Mystic Collaboration

Sirens recently had the opportunity to work with an amazing local designer to portray her newest collection of headpieces. Our concept took the classic feel of a head garnish and added a modern leather twist. We had a blast creating a big hair and soft toned make up look. This shoot owes a huge shout out to the amazing photographer who so gracefully captured the essence and beauty of these pieces.
